How to wash a weighted blanket
While we would always recommend that you check the care instructions on the actual blanket, typically weighted blankets cannot be machine washed. You'll need to spot clean and line dry. Do not bleach and do not iron. Also make sure you don't give your weighted blanket to the dry cleaner!
How heavy should a weighted blanket be?
When you select a blanket weight, please consider the individual who will be using it! For this reason, you shouldn't use these blankets with infants, or with children who weigh less than 25kg. Ensure that you can safely lift the blanket, and consider seeking medical advice if you have any serious medical conditions.
What's the difference between a calming blanket and an electric blanket?
An electric blanket contains a heating element within the actual material itself. They are designed to reduce costs of having a heater run all through the winter nights. The latter does not have any heating elements inside them and rather, typically is filled with glass beads to both trap heat and also weigh you down.
