Trying to understand the different sizes of bedding available can be hard sometimes, so we decided to put together a little guide that should be super helpful for anyone trying to figure out what size quilt cover, sheets and pillowcases you should get!

Getting the right fit for your bedding is essential to not only having a beautiful bedroom, but also a practical one. There is not much worse than having loose fitting sheets constantly popping off your bed or not having enough of a quilt to share with your partner! Let's take a look at some of the sizing for quilt covers.

 

Quilt Cover Sizing Guide

Please note, it is strongly recommended that you always measure your bed and check the product description for each product you wish to purchase to ensure you are getting the correct size for you! This guide is a general guide for Australian size quilts / quilt covers.

We do recommend you upsize your quilt and quilt cover to ensure you have the designer look in your bedroom! This is achieved by placing a size above doona and doona cover on your bed (so if you have a double mattress, get a queen quilt and quilt cover for the designer look!) It's simple tips and tricks like this that will turn your bedroom into something so beautiful!

Bed Sheet Sizing Guide

Please note, it is strongly recommended that you always measure your bed and check the product description for each product you wish to purchase to ensure you are getting the correct size for you! This guide is a general guide for Australian size sheets.

Make sure you measure the depth of your mattress! It is arguably the most important aspect when it comes to buying the right sheets! Simply take a tape measure to your mattress and measure from the top of the bed to the bottom, and then add a couple centimetres to that to account for the sheet slipping underneath the bed. That should be the depth you should buy!
