Is it safe to use an electric blanket?
My Linen ensures the safety of all it's customers and only has high-quality electric blankets available for sale. As long as your blanket is not damaged and is not heating unevenly or burning, it is safe to use. It is recommended that before you turn your electric blanket on that you check for any damages to the product.
What's the difference between an electric blanket and a normal blanket?
The main difference is that an electric blanket has a heating element within it, while a normal blanket does not have a heating element or have any electricity required.
Can you sleep with your electric blanket on all night?
Although it is not recommended that you sleep with your electric blanket on all night, My Linen only stocks a range of high-quality blankets. Make sure if you do plan on leaving your electric blanket on overnight that you check for any damages to the blanket and you set a timer for it to automatically turn off after a certain amount of time.
Can you wash an electric blanket?
While we do recommend that you check the care instructions on the individual blanket you decide to purchase, typically electric blankets can be washed. You have to make sure you remove the outer layer to wash it, as you cannot put any electrical components in the wash / hand wash the electronics.
Are electric blankets expensive to run?
Electric blankets can actually be much cheaper than other ways of heating your bed! It is much cheaper than running a heater in your room, as the heater will keep your room warm, whereas an electric blanket just makes your bed warm! It's quite efficient!
